The software that I use to record my videos for YouTube (and which form the source material for my audio podcast) does not output .mp3 it only outputs .m4a. How do I convert the file to .mp3?

I used to wonder how I was going to get my podcast to appear in the search engines for Podcast applications, but it seems as the though the answer is simple:

• iTunes
• Google Play

Have you looked through your “Following” or “Followers” list recently?

If you do then you’ll see how some people are taking advantage of features in the profile description:

• URLs are clickable
• Hashtags are clickable links
• ‘@username’ are clickable links

You can pretty much move from any piece of content to any other piece of content.

Longer content (e.g. presentations, talks, ebooks, blog posts) are converted to smaller pieces of summary or promotional content.

I recently uploaded a video to YouTube and it was automatically analyzed as “Not suitable for all advertisers”, which in YouTube speak means “No monetization”.

I’ve never made a lot of money from YouTube. The YouTube revenue has probably paid for the software and hardware that I use to create videos. But this made me stop and think about my video strategy.
